Flag football season in Winnipeg has officially kicked off with sport continuing to grow
There wasn’t a cloud in the sky Saturday as Football Manitoba kicked off another flag football season at Princess Auto Stadium.
Ben is a journalism major from RRC Polytech's Creative Communications program. He has immersed himself in the craft through work placements with Global News and the Winnipeg Free Press, where he wrote three stories that led the sports section. Ben is active in Winnipeg's local sports scene, working several roles with the Manitoba Bisons and producing independent stories on local hockey and football. He hopes to branch out and develop as a journalist by reporting on areas outside of sports. Ultimately, Ben dreams of being a sports reporter or play-by-play announcer.
